Winegard air 360 is The Best option for TV LTE WIFI!

WineGuard Air 360

The Three-in-one King!

TLDR: The Winegard air 360 is an omnidirectional antenna plus gateway that has an antenna for your FM radio, a 4g LTE gateway, plus over-the-air TV channels. Compared to a traditional tv/LTE antenna, you have to adjust and crank it around to the position you want.

A solution that solves a common campground problem.

So what problems does the Winegard air 360 solve? First, there are a few ways to get internet in an RV while traveling on the road, starting with your cell phone’s tethering option. For tethering to be viable, most carriers require your cell phone to have some version unlimited data plan. Tethering is excellent, except that tethering only works if you are nearby the phone providing the tethering. The second is using a hotspot and connecting to it. Some providers call it a MIFI Hotspot, but a hotspot is a tiny device with a sim card inserted into it. Which now talks to the cell phone tower, and you connect your various devices to the hotspot. However, hotspot data plans are expensive and restrictive on how much data you can access. Also, most RVs or cars are made out of or constructed with metal framing that absorbs lte/5g signal and reduces the number of bars you get on your device.

New kid on the block

Enter the WineGuard 360, which consists of an external to the vehicle dome on the roof, which serves three functions: 1. a digital tv signal receiver replaces the old bat wings that we used in older RVs. 2. it also has a built-in wifi antenna that receives the campground wifi signal, and 3. It also has an LTE cellular antenna (no 5g yet) which now the cell phone tower hits the antenna on the roof and not your metal box on the road.

Post-Instalation setup and ease of mind!

Once you have it installed and powered up, you connect your device, whether your cell phone or your laptop, to the new wireless wifi name of “Winegard” and a group of digits listed after the name. Once you’re connected, you use the default password provided, and now you’re connected to the router. Now log into the administration page and rename your Winegard to whatever wifi name you want. You will specify how you want your Winegard to act from the administration page—for example, connecting to campground wifi or switching over to LTE, all without switching over all your connected devices to yet another wifi access point. This cant be repeated enough! No matter where you go or where you travel, if you want to connect to the next new campgrounds wifi. It’s as easy as logging into the administration page and entering the campground wifi’s access point name and password, and now everyone else devices, including all the smart TVs, tablets, laptops, and cell phones, will all be connected.
